Our updated Miško Clinic website brings those answers together, whether you are visiting us for the first time or returning to check a detail before your next appointment.
Our website partner Web Aloha rebuilt the site from WordPress on Astro. For us, the purpose is straightforward: make it easier to prepare for a conversation with the clinic, with clear information you can read in Lithuanian, English or Samogitian.
Find your next step before your visit
You do not need to know the name of a procedure before exploring the site. Services are grouped by purpose, and their pages explain what an appointment involves and answer common questions. The dental consultation page, for example, introduces the conversation and examination that begin a visit. It helps you prepare; an individual treatment plan is discussed with your dentist.
Our published price list lets you look through services and prices in one place. You can return to it directly instead of searching separate descriptions for each amount. It is a useful starting point for questions about costs, while the scope and price of your own treatment are discussed individually.
The team page introduces the clinic's specialists through photographs and links to their profiles. Knowing a little about the people you will meet can make that first visit feel more familiar. Our contact page brings together the telephone number, email address, opening hours and a map for reaching us at Kretingos g. 81-1 in Klaipėda.
Choose the language that feels familiar
The language selector connects Lithuanian, English and Samogitian pages. This announcement is available in all three: switching language keeps you on the same subject. That is useful both for English-speaking residents of Klaipėda and for visitors who feel more at home reading Samogitian.
The site also contains articles about teeth and oral care. Not every older article has been translated into all three languages. The layout adapts to a narrow phone screen, and contact details remain accessible through the main navigation.
A simpler foundation for everyday browsing
Astro prepares public pages in advance and delivers them as HTML. Public page delivery no longer depends on a live WordPress installation, PHP or its database. The new site also removes the public WordPress administration area and the plugin code that ran with that system.
Removing those components reduces the maintenance and security work associated with them. Dependencies, access permissions and hosting still need care. The contact form uses a separate server function that also needs ongoing maintenance.
A dated view of website speed
On 14 September 2026, we tested the homepage, https://www.miskoklinika.lt/, in Google PageSpeed Insights. One laboratory run reported 99/100 performance and 0.7 s LCP on desktop, with 97/100 performance and 2.4 s LCP on mobile. LCP records when the largest visible content element appeared.
This is one dated test, not an average for every visitor or a comparison with the former website. The mobile test emulated a Moto G Power on a slow 4G connection. Above the mobile laboratory results, the report separately shows Chrome UX Report data for the whole origin over the latest 28-day period. Those visitor measurements are distinct from this homepage lab test. The desktop report had no equivalent visitor data.
Results can vary with the connection, device and test conditions. These speed measurements do not assess website security.
Helping people find the right information
Clear headings, links between related pages, equivalent language versions and structured data help search engines understand the website. Tools that gather information for AI search can also read its prepared text when they crawl it. These are foundations for discoverability, rather than evidence of higher Google rankings, AI citations or more patient enquiries.
